Thoughts

After crying while at work for 3 days now I just wanted to say thank you for touching the lives of so many people. While listening to the interviews of the families I remembered something my father shared with me within the last days of his hard battle with cancer. He said his mom had always told him when you do something good for someone you earned a star on your crown for when you go to heaven. I was so touched by this because he asked me if I thought he had earned a lot of stars and I assured him he had. I just want you all to know that I think everyone involved in the Grin Kids Organization has earned extra stars for their crown. What an amazing gift you have given those families.
 
My husband and I have 4 charities that we give to each year (Special Olympics, St. Jude, American Cancer Society and Disabled Veterans) and I plan to add Grin Kids to that list this year provided my husband gets back to work as he was an account executive for Lehman Brothers...lol (and he wasn't one of the ones that made millions!!)
